House prices turned upward — but remain below the peak years

After two weaker years, the number of sold permanent homes in Vingåker municipality increased in 2025. Statistics Sweden reports 80 sales, compared with 66 in 2024 and 62 in 2023.

The average price rose from SEK 1.593 million in 2024 to SEK 1.784 million in 2025. The level is still lower than in 2021 and 2022, when the average price was around SEK 1.84 million.

How we calculated

One important caution marker is the purchase-price coefficient, the relation between sale price and assessed value. It has fallen from 1.94 in 2021 to 1.35 in 2025 in Statistics Sweden’s Vingåker series.

That means 2025 can be read as a recovery in both sales volume and average price, but not as a return to the hotter market at the start of the five-year period. In a small municipality, individual sales can also move the average clearly.
