Almost half commuted out of Vingåker in 2024

That corresponds to 45.7 percent of employed residents in Vingåker municipality in 2024.
The year before, the count was 1,800 and the share was 44.9 percent.
A residential municipality with workdays elsewhere
The figures say something about Vingåker as a residential municipality: many people live here but spend their working day elsewhere.
985 people commuted in
At the same time, 985 people commuted into jobs in Vingåker in 2024.
In-commuting decreased from 1,047 people in 2023.
Commuting therefore goes in both directions.
Both flows matter for local services, trade and transport.
